How to create an environment

An environment is a self-contained book of cash data. Everything else lives inside one, so this is the first thing you set up.

1. Open the environment selector at the top right.
2. Type a name in New environment name (for example a company or a book of business).
3. Click Create. The new environment becomes the active one.
4. Use Rename or Delete on the same bar to manage it later. Deleting an environment removes its cash data and cannot be undone.

You can switch the active environment at any time; every page you work on applies to the environment currently selected.
