Accounts (where)
An account is where cash sits or is owed. An account is either an asset (a bank or cash account: real spendable cash) or a liability (a credit card or line of credit: money you owe).
This distinction drives the cash math. Projected cash counts only asset balances. The mid-market parent has asset accounts Operating and Reserve, plus the liability card Corporate Amex.
A charge on a liability account raises what you owe but does not move cash. See the walkthrough *Why a card purchase does not move cash*.
