2. Its escalation is 3% per year: the amount method is fixed, with an escalation rate of 3% applied annually.
3. Generate occurrences across more than a year and watch the monthly amount step up on the anniversary.
4. The confidence band, if set, widens around the escalated amount, so later months carry the higher figure through to the projection.
